Web Producer & Digital Systems Specialist

I design and build human-centered digital experiences across CMS platforms, learning systems, and AI-enabled web operations.

Josue Ruiz

I’m Josh Ruiz, a web producer building innovative and accessible digital experiences.

Based in Pomona, California, I design and build digital experiences across web platforms, credentialing systems, learning management systems, and AI-assisted automation workflows. At Cal Poly Pomona, I support academic innovation by making complex digital environments clearer, more usable, and easier to maintain. I care about keeping digital systems human, building technology that makes sense to people and helps them move through online spaces with confidence.

What I bring to Web Production

Web Development

I architect scalable web ecosystems in decoupled CMS environments (Cascade, WordPress) using reusable templates and responsive HTML/CSS. I actively integrate AI-assisted workflows and structured data practices to accelerate publishing and ensure technical accuracy across staging and production.

Digital Operations

I act as the connective tissue between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. I lead digital projects by triaging complex intake requests, clarifying scope, and establishing rigorous publishing pipelines.

Quality Assurance

I treat accessibility and QA as foundational requirements, not afterthoughts. I utilize accessibility automation and rigorous cross-device testing to ensure every digital surface I launch is WCAG 2.1 compliant, fundamentally inclusive, and structurally sound for long-term maintainability.

The project included custom templates, content restructuring, accessibility alignment, and performance improvements using PageSpeed evaluation techniques.

Web Production Approach

My production workflow for turning complex content and stakeholder needs into clear, accessible digital experiences that are ready to build, review, and publish.

Intake

Clarify the audience, goals, scope, stakeholders, deadlines, publishing needs, and risks before production begins.

Structure

Organize the content, page hierarchy, user flow, templates, metadata, links, and supporting assets so the experience has a clear foundation.

Build

Develop pages, layouts, components, visuals, and content sections across CMS platforms, learning systems, and digital tools.

Human and AI Review

Use AI-assisted workflows, content review, design iteration, and production testing to improve clarity, consistency, accessibility, and execution.

QA and Accessibility

Check copy, links, formatting, responsive behavior, WCAG 2.1 accessibility, rendering issues, and production readiness before launch.

Launch and Maintain

Publish carefully, document patterns, monitor performance, support stakeholders, and improve workflows so digital experiences stay reliable after launch.

Let’s connect and build intentional digital experiences.
